After years of arguments, Britain has at last separated from the EU on 1 January, 2021. The 12-month transition period terminated, together with all the EU-rules that have previously applied in the UK.
Even though a last-minute trade agreement was struck between London and Brussels on 24 December 2020, the information of this deal, and how it will impact migrants desiring to settle in the UK, are not yet entirely known.
